Likely Democratic primary voters need to know that Carol Obando-Derstine is a mother and Colombian immigrant who has spent her career helping local families get ahead: working in a Head Start, overseeing a food pantry, leading two Lehigh Valley based non-profits, working for Senator Casey delivering essential services to families in the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos, and lowering utility bills as an energy engineer. 

Carol immigrated to the U.S. at three years old from Colombia with her parents who lived through a violent civil war to pursue the American Dream, making her the best candidate in this race to stand up to Trump’s militarized ICE, illegal deportations, and efforts to destroy our democracy. 

Voters watching YouTube, WFMZ, on the go, and in the Lehigh Cable System should see and learn about Carol’s story and her agenda as soon as possible. 

Voters should know that Carol is endorsed by former PA-07 Congresswoman Susan Wild.
